Having been in the nursery and landscaping business for 28 years, Andy and Kathy noticed that people in and around this area have a real interest in enjoying the beautiful days of summer and all that it brings - including sweet corn, fresh fruits, and other delicious produce! So, they planted 10 acres of corn and vegetables and set up a tent on the side of the road. Six years later, they plant 97 acres and have opened a beautiful and unique store. I've been hearing rave reviews from a friend, so I stopped by yesterday. HOW WONDERFUL! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were extremely genuine in their desire to accommodate my dietary concerns.

Don't live close to this place????? My neither!! But it is absolutely worth the drive in order to experience Figaro Farms. It has the atmosphere of how shopping used to be and still SHOULD be with its charming store. Awesome ice cream, bulk foods, meats, fresh fruits and vegetables. But the best things are the wonderful free samples of their goodies!
