Having been in the nursery and landscaping business for 28 years, Andy and Kathy noticed that people in and around this area have a real interest in enjoying the beautiful days of summer and all that it brings - including sweet corn, fresh fruits, and other delicious produce! So, they planted 10 acres of corn and vegetables and set up a tent on the side of the road. Six years later, they plant 97 acres and have opened a beautiful and unique store. i love figaro farms!! The dips, ice cream, and BOARS HeAD products still have me drooling. I can't wait till the local fresh grown corn comes in because it's to die for!! The service there is excellent. I feel like it's a big family and I am part of that family. Definitely a true Farmers Market!! You can have a sample of anything there and it's refreshing to know that the workers don't get mad if you sample and don't end up buying the product.

Don't live close to this place????? My neither!! But it is absolutely worth the drive in order to experience Figaro Farms. It has the atmosphere of how shopping used to be and still SHOULD be with its charming store. Awesome ice cream, bulk foods, meats, fresh fruits and vegetables. But the best things are the wonderful free samples of their goodies!
